My car gives trouble when starting. It does not start initially for few trials, then when it just begins to start, it fails to maintain the state and shuts off. Then after a while i accelarate immediately after starting to keep the car running, and if I do not accelarate, the car stops. So I start the car this way, and after driving for a while, it runs normally. It has happened twice in the last two weeks.

These cars have what most people call a 5th. injector. It's a cold start injector located in the center of the intake plenum. They are just for priming the engine to start it until the others detect fuel pressure and take over. They get clogged. You can take it out and clean it with carb cleaner and a toothbrush, and while you are at it, clean the throttle body. Remove the air tube and have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor, (engine off) and spray and scrub the inside of your throttle body as deep as you can get the toothbrush. Spray and clean the butterfly plate. Don't be cheap with the spray....use it all and it will run rough for a minute until the carb cleaner that got into the cylinders is burned, then the idle should straighten out good !
