I have a 93 Chevy Caprice Station Wagon with 220,000 miles. The car runs great at 80 mph but terrible at 2 miles per hour ( and this is worse as the car is warmed up). When you come to a stop it sometimes tries to leap forward and sounds like the engine is racing and dropping down. If I let the car coast forward a few feet it usually settles right down to a normal idle. However if when the car is doing that I need to pull a 100 feet forward as in bumper to bumper traffic and then stop the car will usually stall. If you can maintain normal pressure on the gas pedal though it will be fine. Any suggesstions? I don't have a great deal of money to spend investigating especially on an older car with high mileage.
Optional Information: 1993 Chevrolet Caprice V8
Already Tried: Changed spark plugs, ignition wires, fuel pump
