The steel rebar that holds the parking lot bumper in place was sticking up and pulled the front bumper off my '02 Camry. The owners of the lot don't want to pay & say that my bumper pulled the rebar out. (ok are ya done laughing?) I know the car bumper is plastic held on with plastic clips. Are there any studies done on the tensile strength of the Toyota plastic and clips? We are going to small claims court and I need as much technical evidence as I can get. The Toyota HQ in CA does not have the info, only the front bumper clearance. If you have any thoughts or suggestions I'd be grateful.
Thanks, Vicki G.
