My wife backed out of the garage today and broke off the driver's side mirror of our 2000 Mustang Convertable GT. I haven't seen the damage yet. Do I have to go to a dealer? What could my options be?

thank you for the question hope this helps

yes the mirror for that year is going to be hard to find other then the dealer.
you might get lucky at a recking yard. if you can find it at a recking yard the instillation is not that hard to do. you might also try this site they might have the right color for you.
this should be covered under your car insurance.

good luck
