In order to troubleshoot the problem accurately, some things have to be tested during the actual problem. Any other time and everything will check out good. Trying to diagnose this any other way amounts to guessing and that is just not accurate by any technician.

You need to first test a few functions during the failure.

1) Test for spark at the plug end of the wire using a spark tester.
2) Test for injecter pulse using a small bulb called a noid light.
3) Use a fuel pressure gauge to test for correct fuel pressure.

Once you have determined which of these functions has dropped out,
you will know which system is having the problem.

Here's what the noid light looks like.

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: we've tried all of those options but the problem still persists. Do you have any other options?

Those weren't options. that was a standard proceedure for isolating a "no start" problem.

If you have already done this, then what were the results?

Does it have injecter pulse, spark?

What was the fuel pressure?

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: I'm sorry my friend, i should have more specific. i took it to an ase cert. tech and said he did these proceedures and also asjusted the air flow, repair a broken wire to the temp sensor, and cleaned the throttle body, but the problem still occured the next morning. I maintain the car reguraly and it runs great till this. hopes this helps a little more.

I guess you didn't read my answer. i stated these tests have to be run during the failure or they are worthless.

You can't begin to diagnose your problem until you find out what function is dropping out. One or more of them is dropping out. This is how it is done.
