When I drive my car too long it cuts off. however, it will start once i sit for fifteen minutes or so...        it also stops when i go 50mph......          i keep it full of antifreeze and change the oil regularly. what could be the problem...

Optional Information:
1992 Chevrolet Lumina 3.1 v6

Already Tried:
changing oil, replacing oil pressure sending unit, checking antifreeze regularly and making sure its new antifreeze and not used. i tried changing spark plugs and cables.

You need to check for spark,injector pulse and fuel pressure during the failure.If you are only losing spark the ignition module is the prime suspect.If you are losing spark and injector pulse the crank sensor is the prime suspect.If you are only losing injector pulse the PCM or an ignition feed to it is the prime suspect and if you are losing fuel pressure you probably need a new fuel pump.
