I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix and I have a leak from a hose that is located right under the hose running from the air filter compartment to the engine. It's a little small hose that is about maybe 3-4 inches long and curves downward into the engine. My car's temperature guage runs to hot, so is the leak in the hose causing the problem?

Adding some barleak's radiator stop leak

IS the hose coming from the radiator and going into the water pump, or where does it start and finish. Also did the car start to overheat before or after you put in the barsleak. Thanks for the question.

Reply to ERIC KOHNKE's Post: I found out the hose is call a water bypass hose, and I think it's coming out of the engine and is running back into the engine
