I am disabled (Spina Bifida) and drive a '91 Grand Caravan LE 3.3. In the last 3 years, I have had to replace the cam AND crank shaft sensors, most recently 6 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago, while I was making 90 degree righthand turn the car quit, just as it did when the sensors went out and wouldn't start back up. I then called my mechanic and the towing company. After about an hour, I , out of desperation, tried it again. It fired right up and went home. The next morning I went to my mechanic. They changed the oil, banking on maybe, because of low oil, the fuel pump was cutting out. When the tried to start it up after the oil change, no-go. They put on their diagnostics with no answers. They seem to be now leaning on the computer. However, they are not about to bet the farm on that. It's been a game of cat and mouse for the last 2 weeks. I've had friends suggest that it could be the ignition sensor near the firewall. Do you have any ideas?
