Bought a 1992 Honda Civic w/rebuilt engine that had low mileage. After just a few weeks, the car has blown a head gasket. I understand this may be a recurring problem with aluminum cylinder head engines. What can I do to keep this from happening again?

Reply to al's Post: duh. I know not to run the engine hot, but the car went from normal to immediately hot. Drove it only 2 miles with white smoke blowing out the tail pipe. gasket was already blown. I'm concerned about aluminum heads doing this again. I've heard this is a recurring problem.
