i have a bonneville i was driving it last night while

i have a 97 bonneville i was driving it last night while driving it my battery gauge fell to red on the volt indicatorand my abs light came on to and the car shut off , i put a new starter on and a alternator on and it still want crank. i charge my battery and next day my battery was dead and it a new battey.

Use a digital voltmeter accross the battery with engine idling and no accessories on and see what the voltage is.
