No other lights on. Car runs fine Cruise control works

You have a problem with the switch or the electronic brake control module.It's also possible to have a instrument panel cluster malfunction.I would just leave it alone if it were me the only time it comes into play is when you start to spin the front wheels.Backing off the throttle will get you the needed traction to move in slippery conditions.
