sometimes my 96 Bronco has a tough time starting what it does is I turn the key and all the dash light work fine but it sounds like the startet makes a one click and does not turn over. it happen a few time in the past but all I had to do is turn the key back to off POS. then crank it again starts no problem. Now when the problem occurs I have to jump it or so it seems. I put cables on and it usaully turn over. I don't know if it is just turning over or if the jump is doing it. I have 12 volts @ the battery when car is off and 14 when car is running. I did replace the battery today but it still does it. It does not happen all the time only every once in awhile????
