my car started to act up, letft on day and when I went to take of from a complete stop pushed gas pedal and when car got to 15mph rpm gauge was already up to 3. Went to local auto parst store and they did some kind of test and said it was the speed sensor. next day went to leave the house put car in reverse sounded like car went into gear pressed gas and the car would not move, same thing happened when I put it in drive. Could it still just be a sensor or is the transmission shot? My car is a 2000 Saturn SL.
