HEATER RELAY KEEP BURNING OUT

HEATER BLOWER RELAY KEEP BURNING OUT
AND THERE IS A SMELL OF BURNT STEAM FROM ENGINE, MECHANIC HAVE TESTED COMPRESSOR AND IT IS GOOD.

REPLACE RELAY TWICE

Be absolutley sure there is no water or any moisture around the relay. relays do not like to be wet. Also Be sure there are good grounds entering the relay. Low voltage and bad grounds short out electrical components. Also look at the cotacts inside the relay if it comes apart, and look at the connections right outside of the relay. Loose connections can cause burning and a steam smell.

Reply to amedee's Post: my mechanic have made absolutely sure that there is no miosture and have replace the relay and blower motor twice,yet i have no heat, is there a
better answer than this.

the relay burns out and as i said before that there is the smell of burnt antifreeze. the first time my blower and the relay were burnt out,and you are correct the blower,the fan and several of my lights and cigarette lighter don't work.
