When the car fails to start check the fuel pressure, spark and injector pulse. Also see if the check engine light will come on witht he key in the run position during the failed state.Post that info and I will lead you towards the repair of the car.Make sure you check everything and don't stop if you find one thing missing. That will avoid a misdiagnosis and added expense on your part.

Okay the crank sensor has been replaced three times and you don't have spark. That leaves wiring between the crank sensor and the ignition module and the computer or the ignition module module itself. You can check for ground at the connection under the coil/module assembly. There is a bolt under there that has a couple grounds make sure its clean and tight it's the ignition system ground.Don't even think computer because it has nothing to do with spark on your car.If the wiring between the crank sensor and module is bad it can cause your problem. If the ground is okay I would be tempted to replace the ignition module.

is the ground connection under the coil pack because i changed the coil pack last month and everytime i put the car on the diagnostic test the machanics say the code for the crank sensor comes up. but your also saying it not the computer?

It's under the bracket the coil pack bolts to not under the coil pack itself.Look above the lower radiator hose and under the coil pack you will see a bracket that goes to the alternator its in that area.
