1989 Buick Century 4 cylinder
I live on the east coast and the weather just became cold. My car would on occassion make a growling sound but only for a few minutes and then run normally. It also tends to hesitate when I want to accelarate or drive up steep hills. Also, my check engine soon light is on and off. I recently changed my oil. And the fluids are all at good levels. Someone mentioned purhaps I have water in my gas and recommended I purchase dry gas to see if that would resolve the problem. I don't know what would you suggest?
Thank youOptional Information: 1989 Buick century 2.5 literAlready Tried: letting the car rest over night.
PS. I took my car to a mechanic who replaced the spark plug modulator. My car works fine now.
