I try and start the car and I hear a clicking noise

1996 nissan sentra 1.6l engine ~I tryed to start the car instead of turning over it gave a clicking noise? The battery is good (*the radio was working as well as the dash light)...

1996 Nissan gxe 1.6L

Already Tried:
checked the battery cables, worked the car back-and-forth, turned on the radio, tried to start more than once!
