My 1991 Honda Accord died yesterday. I was driving as normal and all of a sudden I noticed that the speedometer and the RPM guage going wacky...and, the clock was flashing on and off. Then, my car died. When I tried to start it, it turned over and sounded beautiful, but then didn't run...it would simply die a second after turning over. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the alternator belt broke, or the alternator is bad. Check belt, if ok pull alternator, have checked and replace if faulty. Your gages and clock were going funny because you lost power and your car was still moving and in gear so it was firing back up momentarily until it stopped. Hope this helps.
