It may be a problem with the daytime running lamps themselves, and would need to be checked by a shop. The most common problems with headlights is the headlamp switch can melt the connector forit and cause a short to power across the connector. This was more common on the older switches,but not particulary this style.Best thing to do is to bring it to a shop that can check the DRL system.
