hello I have a 97 chev. camero w/ only 78000 miles i recently had the egr valve replaced a new cattalyc converter and the fuel filter all replaced. the day i got it back the service engine light came on but soon went back out but the problem is at the speed of 75 on the interstate my car dies and will not crank back up i have to let it sit for a while sometimes a short period and sometimes not. then it will be fine for a while then i go somewhere and when i gett ready to leave wherever i am at i go tostart my car and it wont crank it will turn over but will not start and if it should it will sputter and die again then with persistance i continue to start it and lord and behold it starts and i off . then just last night i was on a road that circles onto the interstate and just as i had started around the circle it dies then starts and then dies for good i cautiously coasted onto the interstate and pull to the side and cranked it and no go then cranked it again and got home with not a another problem. i have repeatedly taked this car back to the chevrolet house that supposely fix my car but htey cant seem to figure it out the only guess at what it could be i have read my chilton manual cover to cover and cant put my finger on it my guess is a: fuel problem B: ignition problem C: anti theft problem
Please can you even remotely point me to the problem ...other than the fact it's PAID FOR ...LOL
thanks
