how can i get a chevy 700r4 transmission to work in a 81 reagal

i built a 81 regal with a chevy 305 and a 700r4 tranny ,but i cant get the tranny to work i was told this would work with no problem but it isnt

Reply to Davo/diablo666's Post: the 700r4 has plugs on the side that my car doesnt have ,does these plugs have to plug in or can the 700r4 be ran like a turbo tranny?
