Hellol, I have a 1998 ford contour 4 cly, getting codes p0300 thru p0304, have replaced a ton of parts,ie:
plugs/wires/ignition module/fuel injectors/MAF/fuel pressure reg/gas cap...
Still cannot resolve this problem, any idea's/known problems?
The ECM is calibration is 8-04P

Is there also a drivability problem or just the light and codes?? Also what engine specificly do you have??

Just the light/codes, the engine runs like a champ, lots of power,4 Cly, 16 valve ZETEC, the check seems to only occur at high rpm and is random.

There is a Technical service bulitin about false codes on your car you have to have the ECM recalibrated at the dealer to get rid of this problem I have the TSB but it is too big to upload I maybe able to post it on the net I would need your email to get it to you Private message it to me if you like .
