The computer was disconnected in a 1998 ford ranger and we lost the fm radio the am works but no fm how do I get the fm frequency back?

It sounds like a problem specific with the stereo,if you bring it to the dealer, they will be able to sublet a repair and probably replace the stereo.Never heard of this type of concern,but never say never in the car business. Not much else you can do with the factory stereo.
