Camry question
Sent to Car Experts September 02 01:06 PM

I have a 1997 Toyota Camry. When I start the car, the RPMs will occasionally go up and then just fall straight to zero and the car will die. The battery is still good because everything else works, but the engine will go dead. I can get the car started by reving up the engine before the RPMs hit zero and then the car will idle the way it should. I think it might be either my fuel filter or fuel pump or spark plugs...not quite sure. Can you please let me know what you think and also where to locate my fuel filter(s)? Thanks. Also can you wash under your hood with a hose?
