I have a 99 VW Passat 1.8L Turbo and when I punch the gas my battery light flickers on and my digital odometer readings and tripometer go blank and my cd player stops and turns to radio... what could be the cause? I don't know if the alternator is going bad or if there is a problem with some ground wires or if there's a glitch in my computer. It also happens when I'm running low RPM and I push the gas down for more speed.. everything is fine if I drive like a grandma.
