how do i test the gas pump in my 91 cutless 3.1

my cutless does not get any gas and i dont want to drop the tank if it could be a crank sensor or something other than the pump, i changed the filter and am not getting any gas

Simple put your thumb overtthe end of the fuel hose to see if there is any pressure in the line. You can also blow on the end of the fuel line and see if you can hear any bubbles in the tank also make sure that the car is not parked on an up hill slant.

Go to the wiring harness where it plugs into the tank and find the gray wire. Hook up a testlight or voltmeter and have someone turn the key on. You should see voltage for the first 3 seconds only and then it shuts off. If you are getting this power signal and can't hear the pump starting, you have a bad pump.

thank you . now if its not the pump is it the crank sensor?
