chevy dies at light

1997 chevy blazer just had 30,000 mile service, new spark plugs, flush coolant, fixed transmission leak. Daughter driving to Oregon. Service Engine soon light went on. Checked oil and hoses. car seemed fine so drove. started to drive today and when at stop light car died. started up again, then died again when brake put on at light. what could it be.
