I had the blinking AC light and intermitent hot air from the blowers. The dealership said the AC control was the culprit. It was replace but I'm still not comfortable in the car. The vents on the passenger side are 10 degrees colder than those on the driver's side. They said that was normal.

This AC used to crank. Is it just time for another car or are they missing something?

That symptom is usually an indication that the system is low on charge. since they were working on the electrical side of the system, they probably never even looked at the refrigerent status.
