key stuck in ignition

I have a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. At times when I turn the car off the key will be stuck in the ignition, It will start and I can drive it but when I turn it off the key won't come out or even turn back. If I leave it in the ignition for awhile then come back later on it usually will come out then. Sometimes it comes out fine for days then will start getting stuck again
