I have a 1986 nissan 300zx (no turbo) and I'm having some starting and idleing problems. It has new distr. cap and rotor, wires and plugs. I was told it could be my cooling temp. sensor but I can't find it on the engine. Do You know where it is. I may have found it but the wire going to it were ripped out so I can't be sure. If you put the car on a lift it's on the driver's side under the head going into the block? It takes about 4-5 cranks to get it started and then I have to keep on the gas or it will start. Once it warms up it will stay running but seems to have a rugh idle. Any ideas?
