won't start

91 explorer 4.0 wont start getting fuel to the rail and getting spark motor cranks normal fuel does not seem to be getting past injectors??? (battery was hooked up wrong for a second) please give advise , replaced relays and coil pack started very briefly with ether

Does your check engine light come on for a bulb test when the key is in the "on" position with the engine off?
