Olsdmobile 1982 Delta 8 cylinder car repair

I have a 1982 Oldsmobile delta 88 8 cylinder 350/307 car that is running at only 5mph. I have caleaned the carbeurator, checked the intake, removed the breather, and know that the intake gasket is not cracked. What could be causing this sluggishness? I have also propped the choke open to halp it run for about three months now. I need to get to work!
