Question

1996 sebring AirConditioning

Sent to Car Experts July 08, 2005 9:21 a.m.

I have a 1996 Chrysley Seebring. The air conditioner is acting funny. I have check the freon for leaks and it is ok. Problem: The a/c turns cold when I first run the car for 3/4 minutes. I drive for approximately 5/10 minutes it stops blowing cold air. I drive 5/15 minutes it may start up blowing cold air again. I have checked the switches on the panel. Is there a temperature sensor for the a/c?
Thanks. Craig Spicer

Have you checked to see if the compressor is still running when this happens?
