cavalier clutch trouble
Sent to Car Experts June 28 01:02 PM

I have a 93 cavalier, when I push in on the clutch I can not get it to go into gear, it feels as if the clutch needs to go a little further but it is already pressed to the floor. When at a complete stop, clutch pushed to the floor, shifter in first gear, the car will stay stopped but I can't get the gearshifter to go into any other gear, when I start to release the clutch the car jumps to go as if I am releasing the clutch pedal quickly. I wonder if this could be the slave cylinder or the master cylinder and how do I tell which one. There is no bleeder screw on the slave cylinder so I would like to know how to bleed the system. I bought 2 manuals but both are at home and we are broke down out of town.
