Question

Dodge Intrepid

Sent to Car Experts June 24, 2005 11:22 p.m.

On a Dodge Intrepid, what is the name of the peice that sits up on the engine, beside the place that you put the oil in? What is it's purpose and if it is not on the car correctly will it cause the car to run hot?

I would need a year and engine size for your Intrepid, and a better description of what this component looks like to try to tell you what it is... even though it might be a guess as to what you are looking at. Are there any wires or hoses connected to it, and if so, where do they go if you follow them?
