Camry feels rough when turning steering wheel
Sent to Car Experts June 12 09:37 AM

I just had new struts put on my Toyota Camry and also I had a transmission fluid change done recently. I was driving yesterday and the car started riding rough. At first I thought it was my tire but today when i turn the steering wheel to the right it makes an almost grinding sound. It does not occur until I decelerate. What could this be? I hope I am explaining the noise right.

It's difficult to pinpoint the noise precisely this way but you definately need to have it checked. I would bring it back to the shop that did the struts to look over. The struts could be binding at the turn plates or something more serious like bolts left loose. It could even be a wheel not tight. Just get it looked at right away for safety sake. One thing you could check yourself would be the power steering fluid level.
