Fan Problems

I have a 1995 Old Cultlass supreme and when I have the AC fan on and I accelerate the fan stops. What is the cause of this?

Is the A/C compressor also stopping at the same time?

Im not to sure, cause it usually happens when Im driving and I go up a small incline or on the interstate and I go around someone on an incline and the fan inside the car just stops.

Oh, that fan. I thought you meant the cooling fan. I don't know what the hill has to do with it.

Could it be that the air vents are changing and the fan is still running. That would make sense. It would be caused by a vacuum leak to the supply for the vacuum controlled doors in the control box.
