when I take my car out of park, all I get is grinding and it sounds like its around the drivers side wheel, like somethings not engaging. Car won't move. Is it the transmission?

Sounds like you have a problem with one of your halfshafts. If you have recently had one installed, it may not be installed correctly. Otherwise, the C/V joint may have come apart. have the car lifted and inspected.

Very possible it wasn't locked iin correctly and the splines popped out of the trans. You'll need to tow it into the shop.
