Question

screeching noise thats not a belt

1991 chevy cavalier changed fan belt,alternator,tensioner,and air compressor and still have a screeching noise coming from that area only does it when I turn on car first time or when i turn on air conditioner jpc@devtex.net

 That sounds like an A/C belt that is not tight enough. Try to tighten it a little more. You already replaced it, right?
