How do I change the flywheel ring gear on a 232ci straight 6 motor - in a 1969 American Motors Rambler Rebel?

 The obvious part is you have to remove the transmission first. I don't have any instructions available but I do remember a lot of them used a "torque tube" instead of a driveshaft and that complicates thing a lot. Once the transmission is removed, unbolt the flex plate, the old ring can be cut off and the new one has to be pressed on in the same position.

I'm afraid this doesn't help me because I need complete instructions, which I guess would include removing the transmission and pressing the ring.

 For a 69 Rambler? I seriously doubt that.

Yeah, for someone who has only changed oil and a starter before.... I do need instructions.
