I have a 99 trans am and it is idling way to high I have replaced two sensers and it is still doing it along with running hot, none of this happened until the car sat and had a new tranny put in it???

 

Optional Information:
1999 Pontiac trans am 5.7 ltr ls1

Already Tried:
Replaced thermastat, oxygen/fuel senser and throttle control sensor

Reply to MikeB85's Post: Yes the check engine light is on I don't know about codes it is stock, and yes it sat for awhile waiting for new tranny and problems started after it was installed. It is like stuck at a high idle, and then is running hot.
