hi i have a 98 ford contour yesterday i was driving and came to a light and the car shut off when i tried to start it everything was dead i didnt have radio or lights so i jumped it and drove it home i turned it off and tried to restart it and again everything was dead so i went out this morning and cleaned the battery terminals and it started right up i let it run for about 5 minutes and then it stalled again on its own when i tried to restart it everything was dead again would the alltenator be causing this problem? thanks
