How do I disconnect the LEVELING unit.?   I know it's under the passengers side rear just above the rear axle but, there sre more than o1 connectors there one goes up into the harness the other is in plain view and goesd to the leveling unit ( I think)? So, where do I disconnect the unit?

Optional Information:
1992 Cadillac cp. DeVille 4.9L V-8

Already Tried:
Marc said to use a parasitic drain switch at the battery yesterday. and frive the car 1-2 miles , check for RAP (Retained Accessory Power) then after 20 min. use a digital ammeter to make sure I do not have a draw that's >0 .050 amp (50 mA) If it is > 50mA then the electronic level control height sensor needs to be replaced.

Reply to craig swanson's Post: The only struts available were installed and yes too much draw is killing the battery over 1-2 days. Unfortuneatlely the mafgr. (GM) no longer makes the original struts because they had too many problems with the CCR. now they are replacing the struts w/ air assist and cutting the c-15 (green wire from the unit under the drivers seat going to the dash "service CCR" idiot light I got this info from the Dealer. So, Marc thinks it's the electronic leveling unit. He outlined a procedure to find out if The unit is drawing > 50mA and said to replace it if it is drawing > 50 mA. I just need to know where to disconnect it.?

did this problem happen just after you installed the new struts.if so then the easy way to locate the pump is to turn on the key to run but do not start the engine.listen for a humming sound either coming from the engine compartment or in the back of the car find out where the noise is coming from, feel for it and disconnect the pump.it should be a round cylinder about 6 inches in length with a connector on it.but that should not run with the engine shut off and key out.let me know
