97 CADILLAC DEVILLE MILES ARE 81415      AS SOON AS I PUT IN GEAR AND START DRIVING CAR OVERHEATS. I CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT AND FLUSHED COOLING SYSTEM. OIL IS CLEAN. FANS ARE WORKING. PLEASE HELP

I would like to ask you to do the following testing.


Remove the thermostat from the housing, then put the housing back, open the radiator cup, then start the engine, once the motor is running look on the radiator filler hole, and rev the engine a little bit, about 2000rpm, you should see the water flow freely, if there is no movement on the water or just a minimal flow, you have problem with the pump.

The water flow should be like a streaming water on the river.

IT DIDN,T help changing water pump. Any other suggestions

I did what you said and it didn't fix the problem, so I'm waiting for a second answer. Is that the correct way of doing it?
