MY 1991 BUICK REGAL HOOD RELEASE WIRE BROKE OFF ,SO I CAN'T OPEN MY HOOD.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

There is not a secondary release on your vehicle. You must access the latch through the grille or from underneath the car from behind the bumper cover up to the latch. There is no other way, I wished I could tell you there was.

When you look through the hole where your grille is you will see a cable that runs to a latch in the center of the hood. The cable will be black and you will see a point where the conduit stops and you will see a braided cable. The braided cable will go through another piece of metal. This is the piece you will need to pull to open the hood. Let me know if this works. It should look like this! Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would prefer a second opinion.
