I have an '89 Buick LeSabre 3.8 L V-6 engine that has a rattling noise around engine compartment. Have eliminated power steering pump. compressor. water pump. alternator, timing belt. When run engine without serpentine belt, there in NO noise coming from engine. Only when have belt on, but have checked each of above parts separately and they check out. What could be causing the rattling metallic noise?
