96 buick LeSabre burned out left turn signal (rear). Removed interior plastic (black) w/two screws but can't remove exterior cover. How do I remove the exterior plastic cover to get at lamps?

1996 Buick LeSabre 6 cyl

Already Tried:
removed a black plastic cover on inside of trunk by taking out two screws.

Where you see the wires on the back of the socket turn the socket and pull it out

You don't have to take the lense off
