I have a 1996 Buick Regal 6 cyl 3.1. I have been hearing a loud scraping noise and I was told that it is my air conditioning system. They said they can see shavings which could be coming from the compressor. The funny thing is that when its OFF is when the scraping sound starts. Can this be fixed ? Will this cost me a lot to fix?
