My friend is working on my 1995 Buick Regal. . . . power steering's return and/or intake line may have a leak. PROBLEMS getting the old lines off. . .hard to reach. What tools are needed to do this, or does some other component need to be disassembled / taken off . . .in order to reach ?

Already Tried:
Took off two heater hoses to the firewall to have easier access. Finally, he cut the old return line and the fluid drained out.
