Well, that is what my cheap book says also, however, there is not a straight enough piece of tubing where the connection to the condenser is made that will accomodate the length of the orifice tube. The upper tube (high pressure side) to the condenser is larger than the lower tube which does not have a big enough diameter for the orfice.

Well, I have not been able to find any part of the tubing with three crimps. Is it possible that it goes into the Evaportor Inlet itself. The tubing that attaches to the evaporator inlet is two big for the office , but it looks like it reduces size at the evaporator connector.

If you look down behind the grille to the right of the condenser, it's in the liquid line right there.

To the right of the condenser? Do you mean the passenger side of the condenser, because both condenser lines come from the passenger side of the condenser. The upper line goes to the high pressure valve and then to the compressor. The lower line does is not large enough for the orifice tube and there is not a straight enough piece of pipe (where a connection is) for the Orifice
